FAQ
Common questions about credits, ratings, BYOK, localization, age gating, and data.
- How do credits work?
- Every submode turn consumes credits. Sync submodes (Read, Query, GraphView) are the cheapest; async submodes (Synthesize, Audiolize, Visualize slide deck) cost more because they spawn background jobs. Your plan renews monthly.
- How does content moderation work?
- Artifacts are auto-rated and flagged when sensitive material is detected. Anything flagged is gated behind a one-time age confirmation per account. A small list of regions is blocked at the edge per local regulation regardless of confirmation.
- Can I bring my own API keys (BYOK)?
- Yes — the BYOK Studio tier lets you configure your own Gemini, Grok, Anthropic, or OpenAI keys. KnowledgePrism uses them for all LLM calls and stops charging credits for model time; you still pay the tier fee for infra.
- Is the product available in Vietnamese?
- Yes. KnowledgePrism is localized for VI and EN with dual Cloudflare Pages deploys. Marketplace listings support both locales; help docs are kept in lockstep.
- How is age verification done?
- V1 uses self-attestation with a Firebase custom claim — the Syosetu model. V2 adds provider-backed verification (Yoti / Stripe Identity / Veriff / Persona) when the regulator requires.
- What happens to my data when I delete a project?
- Project delete removes the project row, artifacts in R2, and Qdrant / FalkorDB entries for that project ID. Account delete triggers a 30-day grace window before irreversible purge — you can restore from the Account → Data page during the grace period.
- Can I export my whole account?
- Yes. Account → Export produces a zip with every project, glossary, ProjectKG snapshot, and audit log entry for that account. Complies with GDPR Article 20 (data portability).
